Huawei is all set for the launch of its new device the Honor V9 on Feb. 21. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is packed with a 3,900 mAh battery.

In a teaser image created by the China-based company, the upcoming phone Honor V9 will be officially launched on Feb. 21 to replace the Honor V8 that was released in May 2016. Earlier this week, the smartphone had cleared certification from TENAA, China's regulatory authority.

According to TENAA listing, the Honor V9 smartphone sports a 5.7-inch display that supports quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The phone is powered by Kirin 960 chipset that includes a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor.

The device comes in two variants. First variant features a 4 GB of RAM that include a 64 GB of internal storage, while the other variant comes with a 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. It also has support for external storage through microSD card of up to a 128 GB.

The Honor V9 is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. It sports dual rear camera of a 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel secondary camera with LED Flash. The device features a 8-megapixel front facing shooter.

Huawei's new device is packed with a 3,900 mAh capacity battery. It features a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the phone. The phone weighs 184 grams and is 6.97 mm thick, GSMArena reported.

It is reported, that Huawei will be introducing two flagship phones namely P10 and P10 Plus in the year 2017. The devices are said to get unveiled on Feb. 26 and will be open for taking pre-orders in March. The devices are likely to come in multiple variants of memory

According to a leaked poster the specs of the upcoming device has been revealed. The P10 smartphone is expected to feature a 5.2-inch flat screen, while the P10 Plus is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch curved-edged screen. Both the Huawei's devices will be supporting quad a HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The chipsets are pegged to be same for both the upcoming phones. Both are expected to come powered by Kirin 965 processor. The phones are likely to sport Leica branded 12-megapixel dual-lens rear camera and a 8-megapixel front facing camera.

The leaked poster suggests that the Huawei P10 will be coming in three variants. The first variant with a 4GB RAM / 32 GB storage priced at $510. The second variant will boast a 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage priced at $595 and the third variant with a 6 GB of RAM and 128 storage costing $680.

The Huawei P10 Plus is rumored to come in two variants. It is said to come with a 4GB RAM/64GB storage priced at $725. The other is likely to feature a 6GB RAM / 128GB storage costing at $830.
