"Dance Moms" Season 7 is still in production despite initial rumors that the hit Lifetime reality TV show has already been cancelled.
On her Instagram account, ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller shared a photo of the members of the Junior Elite team, namely, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, Brynn Rumfallo, Nia Frazier and Camryn.
The controversial coach confirmed that the young professional dancers are still competing under her dance studio. Miller also used the hashtag "Season 7" to indicate that the photo was taken during one of their filming days for an upcoming episode.
Meanwhile, Lifetime originally confirmed that there will only be a total of 13 episodes for "Dance Moms" Season 7. However, the show's official spoiler site confirmed that there will be more.
After next week's episode, Lifetime will release a two-part installment that will feature the return of Chloe and Christi Lukasiak. After the midseason finale, "Dance Moms" will go on a short hiatus before they return with new episodes in the coming weeks.
However, the fate of "Dance Moms" Season 8 still remains to be unknown. Previously, the producers, as well as Miller confirmed that it has already been cancelled, but Rumfallo hinted on a possible renewal.
On her Instagram account, the young dancer posted a photo of a competition that they will attend which will take place on Feb. 11. This suggests that the Junior Elite team is still intact, but it does not confirm whether or not the team will still be featured in "Dance Moms" Season 8. The photo has since been deleted by Rumfallo from her Instagram account.
In other news, Lukasiak previously hinted on a Season 8 renewal. According to the teenager, there are still a couple more episodes that will be filmed. However, she did not confirm whether or not she will be featured in more than one episode of "Dance Moms."
"Dance Moms" Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
