Final Fantasy XV is an action-RPG video game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

New updates for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature more details in GDC 2017 and a Nintendo Switch version not happening this year.

It seems that Square Enix will not make a Nintendo Switch version of "Final Fantasy XV" as game director Tetsuya Nomura told DualShockers that they are currently have no plans to put the game in the new console.

Although Nomura stated that "Final Fantasy XV" might work on the Nintendo Switch, he and the development team must conduct proper testing to the game console in order to know if it will work or not, thus giving them an unsure answer.

Square Enix already has several titles planned for release on Nintendo Switch. "I Am Setsuna" will be available on launch day, a few "Dragon Quest" games have been announced for the platform, and an entirely new RPG called "Project Octopath Traveler" was teased during the Nintendo Switch Presentation in January.

Meanwhile, Square Enix announced that "Final Fantasy XV" will have new game details at this year's Game Developer's Conferrence on March 3, Gamepur reported.

Square Enix even streamed a teaser trailer for "Final Fantasy XV" at GDC 2017, which also features the game's audio programmer Sho Iwamoto discussing the music and techniques used in making the game.

Previous reports revealed that Square Enix delayed the Magitek Armor DLC on Feb. 21 as Tabata and marketing manager Akio Ofuji stated in their last livestream that the delay was due to the exosuit's color scheme are similar to the Power Rangers, especially the upcoming film of the same name produced by Saban and Lionsgate.

Ofuji added that they are looking to redesign the Magitek Exosuit for "Final Fantasy XV" and will be release in a later date until the designs are good enough, although Ofuji felt that their designs and concepts for the suits are original as far as copyright is concern.

The Magitek Exosuits in "Final Fantasy XV" will allow Noctis and his friends to be invincible for 30 minutes before they needed to be charged for 24 hours and gives Noctis improved fishing skills.

Square Enix announced several tweaks for Chapter 13 in "Final Fantasy XV" next month, helping the somewhat isolated feeling of the section feel less jarring when compared to the rest of the title. Not to mention that Episode Gladiolus will launch on March 28, while Episode Prompto will be out on June and Episode Ignis is in the works and it will be more tactical gameplay than the rest.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
