Niantic will be release a huge update for “Pokemon Go”, patch 0.57.2 which will include 80 new pocket monsters and new items. Expected are critters from the Johto region, something most may associate with “Pokemon Gold” and “Pokemon Silver” games.

There will be over 80 new entries expected in the Pokedex which may also include the much-talked about “Shiny” Pokemon. Thanks to the efforts of dataminers, the “Shiny” code was previously spotted hidden inside the APK for some time now, Slash Gear reported. Among the terms spotted include “Play Shiny FX”, “Shiny Spawn FX” and “Support Shiny”.

These new characters should be something to look forward to for “Pokemon Go” gamers, especially the ones looking for some new creature to aim for. But similar to previous updates from Niantic, there is more to look forward to.

One feature worth noting for “Pokemon Go” is the new “Evolve” feature as well as the standard “Upgrade” options, according to Android Community. Previous known as an evolution stone, the feature has now expanded. That includes new items that could come in handy for levelling up. These are upgrade, Sun Stone, Metal Coat, Kings Rock and Dragon Scale, evolution stones expected are expected to perform different things.

For the “Pokemon Go” players who have frequently been looking for perks, new awards are also expected for patch 0.57.2. “Avatar Awards” are reportedly coming, something that is different from the present badges when players achieve something. Among the new awards include “Medal Reward”, In-App Purchase” and “Level Reward”, something that is expected to entice gamers to frequently play and level up.

There are different ways to toss the Pokemon Ball on “Pokemon Go” and it looks like patch 0.57.2 will bring in more perks. A new Pokemon Ball has been speculated and some are calling it the “Master Ball”. If so, it is likely to be something stronger than the Ultra Ball most have right now.

Among the potential characteristics for the “Master Ball” include being armed with a critical shake, critical click or catch success critical. These will likely be crucial when “Pokemon Go” players come face-to-face with the advanced pocket monsters.
