Overwatch is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by Blizzard Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

New updates for "Overwatch" will feature a rumored Greek hero in the roster and fans want Doomfist to be the next DLC character.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding the next DLC character coming to "Overwatch's" growing roster as numerous report and speculations hint that the next character could be a Greek hero and not the fan-favorite Doomfist.

Fan detectives have scrounged IMDB for further indicators of the upcoming "Hero 24" in "Overwatch" will not likely be Doomfist and this hero is a Ilios native. YouTube channel Curse Entertainment claimed that the hero could be based on the Greek god Helios.

However, Greek actor Alex Malaos denies that the possible 24th hero in "Overwatch" just hours after a Reddit thread was posted with hints that he might be. YouTube user name TheKingFenrir reached out to Malaos on Twitter with respect to this story, and received a response.

Malaos stated that he was just reading lines in Greek and denied that he is playing a Greek hero within the game. He clarified that it was random background lines and he has no idea on how or what will the game developers do with it, PCGamesN reported.

With that in mind, gaming fans are now demanding Blizzard Entertainment should have Doomfist as the next DLC character in "Overwatch", but game director Jeff Kaplan explained that they should not expect Doomfist anytime soon as the game developers have other plans for the 24 character, DigitalTrends reported.

Previous reports hinted that YouTube channel Arekkz goes over the various Doomfist hints found by players during the latest Public Test Region of the game.

The main reference being a new model of the Numbani Payload depicted by a wire mech file as the glass on the payload containing Doomfist’s gauntlet is broken.

Besides the leaked file, the menu music in the PTR has also been changed to Doomfist’s theme, which was first heard in the original "Overwatch" cinematic short, and the Hero Gallery UI has changed slightly as if to make space for another Hero card.

"White Chicks" star Terry Crews previously posted a mocked audition tape for Doomfist, which viewers and "Overwatch" fans were delighted to see. Crews has put his intense, yet comical vocal talents to work by reading reaction lines for Doomfist, with the character responding to certain previously recorded scenes and lines of dialogue from other "Overwatch" characters.

"The Expendables" star has been vocal about playing the latest version of Doomfist in "Overwatch" as past reports and speculations revealed that three individuals have already wore the character's signature gauntlet.

Two of them are named Savior and Scourge, while the third person is called the Successor, in this case the next person to adopt the mantle of Doomfist.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
