‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ showcases new info on story background

Nintendo has recently revealed new information on "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's" story background. They also revealed new information about the video game's important characters.

The game company updated the video game's official Japanese website with new information on its story background. Before it starts on its playable section, a disaster called the great calamity happened, which destroyed the kingdom of Hyrule. After 100 years have passed, the video game's main protagonist, Link, wakes up from a long sleep in an underground ruin, and guided by a mysterious voice.

Link, Zelda, and a few more characters were also given new information by the game company by the new update. Zelda is a young man who woke up with all of his memories lost. He sets out into the vast land of Hyrule with a mysterious voice guiding him on his long journey.

Zelda is the princess of the Hyrule kingdom, and she is a wise and curious girl, but has a deep complexity. She is currently doing independent research on the ancient ruins that are scattered throughout the video game's world.

Daruk is one of the inhabitants who live in Hyrule, and he is a Goron. He is the leading warrior among his kind, and he is always calm, cool, and collected. He also has this valiant side of him, but once he steps foot into battle, he will become a frightening fighter that lets out a loud war cry.

Revali is a Rito who lives in Hyrule and wears the same blue cloak as Daruk. Mipha is a Zora who also lives in the ruined kingdom, and also wears the same blue cloak. She has a quiet and reserved personality, and has a special power unique to her alone as a Zora.

The Guardians are relics said to have been made by people in the distant past. When the great calamity occurred, the Guardians suddenly attacked the citizens of Hyrule and anyone that go near it, and it still runs wild even after 100 years.

Bokoblin is a species of monster that lives in Hyrule, and love to build hideouts with several other Bokoblins. These monsters will attack anything that they spot on their patrols.

Nintendo recently revealed in another post on the official website of video game its Expansion Pass, which will be available for $19.99 only. This will grant players two sets of downloadable content, which will be launched this summer and in the holidays.

Content Pack 1 will add a Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode, and a new feature for the in-game map. Content Pack 2 will add new challenges that will introduce players with a new dungeon and a new original story. These content packs will be available for both the Nintendo Switch and the Wii U versions of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
