Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. The couple, who got re-engaged in early 2016, are reportedly planning a red hot summer wedding in the Himalayas.
It came to light when a source told Life & Style Weekly that Cyrus and Hemsworth will walk down the aisle in a couple of months. It is said that the lovebirds plan to exchange wedding vows in the Himalayan mountains this summer.
"Miley has a real hippie side and wants to embrace that rather than spending millions," the source said. "She wants to focus on the spiritual side of marriage and is very interested in Hinduism, so she is looking at locations in Nepal, where Hinduism is a way of life."
The source went ahead to reveal that the wedding ceremony will take place over a few days and there will be multiple activities for the invited guests. The said activities include meditation, yoga, prayers, elephant rides, guitar playing, dancing, and sleeping under the stars.
Though the "Party in the U.S.A" hitmaker may be getting her dream wedding, she previously admitted that she is not a huge fan of her engagement ring. During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," she revealed that she sometimes chooses not wear it since "it is too bling."
"It's very weird because this is like real jewelry, and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy," Cyrus said. "They also don't look that good together 'cause they kind of mix up."
It is a 3.5 carat cushion-cut ring handmade in an 18-carat gold with a diamond floral design. Specifically, the singer wanted the engagement ring in gold for it to become distinctive and unique, E! News reported.
