The ASUS ZenFone is a series of Android smartphones designed, marketed and produced by ASUS.

Asus is expected to launch a budget offering under the existing Zenfone 3 series. Based on new reports, the budget 'Go' series will unveil its Zenfone 3 Go handset in the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.

The new report on the Zenfone 3 Go smartphone suggests that its selling point will be its improved front camera, which will be great for selfies and video conferencing. According to the phone's leaked poster, the phone will feature Beautification with Facebook and YouTube. It will even be coupled with a soft LED flash in the front for brighter selfies, according to BGR.

Following the poster, Asus claimed that its Zenfone 3 Go will be armed with dual MEMS Mics for noise reduction, together with five-magnet speaker and smart amp.

Earlier, an Italian Website called "Notebook Italia" revealed the physical chassis for the Zenfone 3 Go in an image render. The smartphone will be sporting a metal build, in contrast with other Zenfone smartphones.

Aside from its metal build, the leaked image showed the antenna bands on the top and bottom chin at the back of the smartphone. According to reports, Asus will not be including a fingerprint scanner module in the Zenfone 3 Go as no button can be spotted on either rear or front panels of the phone. For a better user experience, the device will be adding capacitive buttons in its feature.

The leaked image further reveals the speaker and the USB Type-C port situated on the bottom side of the phone. The three color variants for the Asus Zenfone 3 Go will be black, pink, and gold color options.

Specs-wise, the report indicated that the Asus Zenfone 3 Go will feature a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, NDTV reported. Under the hood, the smartphone is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 2GB of RAM. It will offer 16GB of internal storage onboard.

In its optics department, the Asus ZenFone 3 Go will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1.4 μm pixel size, alongside a 5-megapixel front-snapper with soft LED flash for better low-light selfies. There is still no information on the Android version that will run in its software.

In addition, the price for the Zenfone 3 Go may go around $160 and $175 outright, which translates close to Rs 11,000.
