May 8 is the date set by a Pittsburgh federal judge for the final sentencing date in the fraud case involving Abby Lee Miller of "Dance Moms." Season 7 of the show concluded last week and "Dance Moms" will not air on Feb. 28.

The Lifetime show completed seven seasons on Feb. 21 and reports suggest that "Dance Moms" Season 8's filming has begun.

According to a report by Deadline, on May 8, Miller will learn her fate if she is going to prison or it is probation for her. Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti also noted that if Miller's attorneys need more time to share their side of the story and argue, a further hearing is scheduled for May 9 at 10 a.m. only if necessary.

On Feb. 22, Miller returned from London after an "amazing" trip.

Earlier, Miller spoke with Brice Sander of ET during the Pre-GRAMMY Party in Los Angeles. She stated that she is good and trying to stay positive and happy. Miller might get up to 10 years in prison. Back in October 2015, the actress was accused of illegally trying to hide money earned from "Dance Moms" and the spinoff projects from Lifetime's show after she filed for Chapter 11. At the time, she pleaded not guilty.

Later, she was charged with 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud.

"I don't know. I don't want to make light of it. I don't want to make fun of it," Miller said to ET.

"It's very serious. But, there's a lot of strange, unanswered questions. So, eventually I think everything will come out and it'll all be good," she added.
