‘One Day at a Time’ Season 2 renewed; Justina Machado, co-stars celebrate

"One Day at a Time" Season 2 is happening and is likely to premiere in 2018. On March 4, Saturday, Netflix renewed the Sony Pictures TV comedy based on the 1970s CBS sitcom of the same name.

Developed by Mike Royce and Gloria Calderon Kellett, "One Day at a Time" is about a divorced mother named Penelope Alvarez played by "Jane the Virgin" actress Justina Machado. On March 5, Sunday, Royce took to Twitter to share a video of Machado and her co-stars celebrating the renewal of the show.
