"The Good Fight" star Christine Baranski is reprising her role as Dr. Beverly Hofstadter, the mother of Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki), in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 episode 18 titled "The Escape Hatch Identification." The episode was directed by Mark Cendrowski.
In "The Escape Hatch Identification," Beverly will help Sheldon navigate a personal. Unintentionally, Beverly will do something that may put his son's marriage to Penny Hofstadter (Kaley Cuoco) in danger, TV Line has learned.
Currently, Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) is broke. After he moves out of his apartment, Leonard and Penny will offer the old room of Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons). It appears that Amy Farrah Fowler's (Mayim Bialik) boyfriend has no problem with this at all.
"I think it's nice that you're taking whatever medication Amy is clearly giving you," Leonard jokingly says. Sheldon then insists to Leonard that he is wrong if he is implying that he has some problem with Raj moving into his old room.
Meanwhile, the upcoming "The Big Bang Theory" spinoff sequel will be about the younger versions of Sheldon and his mother Mary Cooper (Laurie Metcalf). The former will be played by "Big Little Lies" star Iain Armitage while the latter will be played by Metcalf's daughter Zoe Perry, who recently played Harpers Ferry police officer Kristen Fields in "NCIS," Deadline has learned.
On the other hand, Cuoco is set to play herself in the upcoming comedy film titled "Handsome." Among her co-stars in the film are Natasha Lyonne, Leah Remini, Christine Woods, Amy Sudaris, Steven Weber, Jeff Garlin, J.J. Totah, Dave Sheridan, Ava Acres, Megan Ferguson and Adam Ray.
Cuoco, Galecki, Nayyar, Parsons, Bialik, Helberg and Rauch are all expected to appear in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 episode 19. "The Escape Hatch Identification" will air on CBS on March 9, Thursday, at 8:00 p.m. Here is a sneek peak of the episode:
