‘The Blacklist: Redemption’ spoilers: Will Tom and Nez get in trouble in Russia?

'The Blacklist: Redemption' stars Famke Janssen and Ryan Eggold speak onstage during the NBCUniversal portion of the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, California.

A plane will crash in the Ural Mountains of Russia in "The Blacklist: Redemption" Season 1 episode 3 titled "Independence, U.S.A." This will prompt Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) and Nez Rowan (Tawny Cypress) to go undercover in Russia.

In "Independence, U.S.A.," Tom and Nez will go to Russia to infiltrate a shadowy top-secret military facility. Meanwhile, the mother of the former, Susan Scott "Scottie" Hargrave (Famke Janssen), will enlist Matias Solomon (Edi Gathegi) to unearth information about her husband Howard Hargrave (Terry O'Quinn), who is the founder of Halcyon Aegis, 

In episode 2 titled "Kevin Jensen," an American journalist and close family friend of Scottie named Kevin Jensen (Kyle Harris) was be falsely arrested for espionage in a dangerous foreign country. Before time ran out, the Halcyon team mounted a last-ditch effort to rescue the episode title character.

Back in the pilot episode titled "Leland Bray," Tom traveled to New York to discuss the estate of Howard, his late father. To Tom's surprise, his father is still alive.

Tom learned that Howard had faked his death. The former enlisted the latter to join Scottie's security firm to help find a kidnapped CIA agent. 

Joining Janssen, Eggold, Gathegi, Cypress and Harris in "Independence, U.S.A." are Adrian Martinez as Dumont, Dan Ambroyer as Trevor, Kelli Barrett as Cynthia Stener, Henry Clarke as Bob, Luke Forbes as Pete, Masha King as Angela, Theodora Miranne as Kat Carlson, Andrew Rein as David and Guy Sparks as a Joint Special Operations Command agent. Denisa Juhos, Frank Modica, Eugene Prokofiev and Peter Reznikoff will play Russian characters in the episode while Amy Novondo and And Palladino will play a basketball player and a basketball spectator, respectively.

"Independence, U.S.A." will air on NBC on March 9, Thursday, at 10 p.m. Check the following video:
