Gigi Graff, Sandra Oh, Anne Heche, Alicia Silverstone and Onur Tukel attend the premiere of Dark Sky Films' 'Catfight' at Cinefamily on March 2, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

It was announced in 2016 that Oh will be added in the recurring cast of "American Crime" Season 3. She will play Abby Tanaka, a social worker who runs a shelter for victims of domestic abuse in Alamance County, North Carolina, according to Variety.

The family name of Oh's "American Crime" character is a Japanese word that means dweller in a rice paddy and is one of the most common surnames in Japan. Among the celebrities with the same surname is choreographer Bryan Tanaka, 33, who is currently romantically linked to Mariah Carey, according to People.

The episode that will mark Oh's debut in "American Crime" has yet to be confirmed. Her fellow recurring cast members are Cherry Jones, Tim DeKay, Janel Moloney, Dallas Roberts, Ana Mulvoy-Ten, Mickaëlle X. Bizet, Clayton Cardenas, Timothy Hutton and Lili Taylor.

Regina King is back in the regular cast of "American Crime" Season 3. She will be joined by Felicity Huffman, Connor Jessup, Richard Cabral and Benito Martinez.

On the big screen, Oh recently starred in a film titled "Catfight." Here is an interview with Oh and her co-star Anne Heche about the film:
