After four years of relationship, Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin have broken up but they were recently spotted together. This led to speculations that the two "The Vampire Diaries" alums are getting back together while others believe that the two are simply just friends after their breakup.

On March 19, Sunday, Wesley and Tonkin were in Los Angeles. The former "The Vampire Diaries" co-stars of Ian Somerhalder were seen enjoying a stroll together at a farmers market, E! News reported.

Wearing all-black ensembles, Wesley and Tonkin reportedly had coffee cups in hand while they were in a serious conversation. The former was in a vintage button down and baseball cap while the latter wore a chic shift dress and loafers.

Tonkin and Wesley met in 2012 on the set of "The Vampire Diaries." The eighth and final season of the The CW series aired from Oct. 21, 2016 to March 10.

Wesley played Stefan Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries" from 2009 to 2017. He also played the character in one episode of "The Originals" in 2016.

In 2016, Wesley starred in two films. He played Kevin in "Mothers and Daughters" and Charlie in "The Late Bloomer."

On the other hand, Tonkin played Hayley Marshall in "The Vampire Diaries" from 2012 to 2013. She then moved to "The Originals" from 2013 to 2017 playing the same character.

On the big screen, Tonkin's most recent film was "Billionaire Ransom." Her co-stars in the thriller include "Shadowhunters" star Dominic Sherwood, "Dark Ascension" star Jeremy Sumpter, "Catastrophe" star Mark Bonnar, "Homeland" star Sebastian Koch, "American Gothic" star Elliot Knight, "Black Sails" star Anna-Louise Plowman and "Gossip Girl" alum Ed Westwick, who recently went to the United Kingdom to launch his new BBC show "White Gold," The Guide Liverpool reported.
