Little Latin Dance Fattie

Young fat boys from Asia are dominating the dance floors of variety shows in the U.S.

He Xiongfei, a nine-year-old boy from Lyoyang, China, started to take in 2015 salsa lessons to lose weight. However, he impressed his dance teachers that from being a YouTube star, he has guested recently on the American TV show “Little Big Shots,” TVovermind reported.

YouTube Sensation

His becoming a YouTube sensation was the result of He Xiongfei being filmed by a dance instructor who found the fat boy’s move “pretty hilarious.” Jiao Yuexing, his dance instructor, finds his facial expressions “pretty elaborate.”

At his recent “Little Big Shots” guesting, his translator said the boy’s nickname is “Little Latin Dance Fattie” who proved to the audience, including TV host Steve Harvey, that having some extra weight is not a hindrance to demonstrate his cool moves.

On the same show, a fat eight-year-old Filipino boy had also appeared in March. John Philip Bughaw, more known as “Balang,” has shown his talent for dancing not only in “Little Big Shots” but also in “The EllenDegeneres Show” where he made his fourth guesting stint on March 22.

Frequent Ellen’s Guest

For his recent guesting, “Balang” danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” CNN reported. He first appeared on Ellen’s show in 2015 when he was six years old. In his first appearance in May 2015, the boy danced to Jessie J’s “Bang.”

After his guesting, Ellen gave him an exercise bicycle to help him lose weight, but at his March 22 appearance, when the host asked him how long he had used the bicycle, the boy said he bikes only three minutes per use. “Balang” danced Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” in his second guesting stint at the show in November 2015 and “Nae Nae” in May 2016 which was his third time to guest.
