Got7's Mark Tuan Deletes All Instagram Posts, Makes Fans Worried With Cryptic Post

Got7's Mark Tuan has deleted or archived all his Instagram posts and changed his display photo to a black circle on October 19. That's not all, the K-pop star, who has 11.4 million followers on the social media site, also added an IG story that simply says, "I'm trying my best can't you tell?".

The cryptic message is causing worry to frenzied fans since it is no secret that there is excruciating pressure on K-pop stars. AhGaSe, the official name of Got7 fans, is voicing out concern for Mark and sending supportive messages on Twitter and other online communities. Incidentally, the rapper and his family have faced harassment in the past from several stalkers, and fans cannot stop worrying.

Others are speculating whether the development is something of a publicity stunt to announce a new track. K-pop idols from Got7, such as Wonho and Yugyeom, had also deleted or archived all of their posts on Instagram before announcing their solo album. AhGaSes are thinking if the IG story actually features the lyrics from one of Mark's new songs.

The singer's photos from a couple of weeks ago suggested that he was filming for a music video from his debut album. Mark went live and hinted that he had many songs ready to perform for his fans and go on tour. He trended on October 14 when he tweeted "Date set", which fans interpreted as the album's release date. The rapper tweeted he was working up a single after attending the Paris Fashion Week.

The K-pop star has been making headlines recently for his eccentric social media stints. First, he shut down the dating rumors, which linked him with BLACKPINK's Rose, in the most deadpan way and now he has deleted all his Instagram posts. The singer has also been in the news for turning heads at the Paris Fashion Week, attending various shows in iconic attires.

2021 has been all about making new beginnings for Mark. After Got7 did not sign with JYP Entertainment, the K-pop singer opened a YouTube channel and set a record of having a million subscribers without even uploading a video.

Mark also announced that he launched his own studio in Beijing, China in February. The "Mark Tuan Studio" will manage his Chinese promotions and activities. He also released the song "One In a Million", which is a collaboration with Bangladeshi-American producer Sanjoy Deb.

Mark's latest work includes singing the OST "Never Gonna Come Down" in the Marvel movie "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" with Bibi.
