BTS Talks About Second Grammy Nomination And Invisible Barrier For K-Pop Artists

K-pop supergroup BTS will perform during this year's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour on December 3 in Los Angeles. The announcement was made by the Los Angeles-based 102.7 KISS FM.

The South-Korean pop group confirmed that appearance through a tweet on their official social media account, "We can't wait to spend the holidays with you in LA at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball".

BTS will be the opening act for the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour. The boy band will perform their hit singles "Butter" and "Dynamite".

Hosted annually by iHeartRadio, the Jingle Ball Tour is the largest year-end radio show in the United States. It features a star-studded lineup of performances by world-class artists and music's hottest acts on the stage.

This year, the festival will be held from November 30 to December 19 in various cities that include Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Miami, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Minneapolis, and more.

In addition to BTS, the 2021 lineup also includes Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Black Eyed Peas, Lil Nas X, The Kid LAROI, Dixie D'Amelio, Bazzi, Tate McRae, and Saweetie.

BTS made its debut in the Jingle Ball Tour in 2019 with a more than 15 minutes long performance featuring "Boy In Luv" with a special appearance from Halsey, the Steve Aoki remix of "MIC Drop", and "Make It Right". The group was also a part of the event's online version last year.

The Bangtan Boys have a busy schedule forward, as they are also scheduled to perform their Inglewood leg of the Permission To Dance On Stage" offline tour at the SoFi Stadium just a day before their iHeartRadio appearance. The tour dates in LA are on November 27 and 28 and December 1 and 2.

The tour is the K-pop band's first to be held two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, which makes it even more anticipated and hyped with a frenzy surrounding the occasion. Earlier in 2021, the band's entertainment label Big Hit Musicunfortunately had to cancel their "Map of the Soul" tour due to the deteriorating situation caused by the pandemic.

Meanwhile, BTS and Coldplay unveiled a remix of their hit collaboration "My Universe" yesterday. Called "Suga's Remix", the rework has been created by BTS rapper SUGA who had added his own spin to the popular track, which has been making waves and topping charts since its release.
