South-Korean boys' band MONSTA X has bagged a nomination at the upcoming 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards in the K-pop category. The members thanked their fans on Twitter and asked them to vote for the team as voting has already started for fans all over the world on October 21.
On the same day, the group announced their comeback globally with their second album's release date. They also dropped the tracklist for the album called "The Dreaming", which will be their second English studio album featuring 10 songs in all along with the pre-released track "One Day" that was launched on September 1.
The list includes 10 songs including "One Day", namely, "The Dreaming", "Blow Your Mind", "Better", "Whispers In The Dark", "Tied To Your Body", "Secrets", "About Last Night", "Blame Me", and "You Problem".
"The Dreaming" will be MONSTA X's second release in the United States. Reportedly, Shownu will also feature on the albums, a piece of news that has brought joy to fans as his presence was missed.
The leader of the group, Shownu has been missing in action from the band as he is on a hiatus because of his compulsory military enlistment. As such, "The Dreaming" will the band's second official comeback as a quintet group.
Incidentally, the band is geared for two comebacks. The first comeback will be with the release of a domestic album, which will be released next month in November, according to an announcement by MONSTA X on October 19.
The concept of the album and the tracklist apparently revolves around the former beliefs of the boys related to passing time and time travel, though more details are under wraps.
The new album from MONSTA X will have a December 10 release. The release timings have still not been announced.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X is a part of the lineup that will perform during the upcoming 2021 iHeartradio Jingle Ball Tour, a multiple-day event that takes place in various cities in the US during the end of the year. The boys will be performing in Philadelphia, Washington D.C, Atlanta, and Miami on December 13, 14, 16, and 19 respectively.
It will be the K-pop artists' third-time performance at the Jingle Ball Tour after they performed in 2018 and 2019 consecutively. Shownu will not be a part of the upcoming performances this year.
