Do You Know Which Of Your Favorite K-Pop Stars Are Taking The 2022 College Entrance Exam CSAT Tomorrow?

South Korea's annual College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) for college entrance is taking place tomorrow on November 18.

Many K-pop celebrities, who are high school seniors at the moment, have revealed whether or not they will be taking the 2022 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).

The previous college entrance exam was postponed for two weeks due to concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to media outlet reports from various entertainment agencies, popular K-pop artists such as ENHYPEN's Sunoo, ITZY's Yuna, P1Harmony's Intak, EPEX's Keum Dong Hyun and Mu, BLITZERS' Lutan, STAYC's Seeun, and both of woo!ah!'s Sora and Wooyeon will not be taking the CSAT.

Even Seongmin and Taeyoung of CRAVITY have decided not to sit for this year's college entrance exam. An insider from the duo's management company, Starship Entertainment, said that they discussed career paths and future prospects with both the singers and they have finally taken the decision to not appear for this year's CSAT.

Ahn Yujin, who is going to make her debut in the new girl group called IVE formed by Starship Entertainment, will also be skipping the 2021 CSAT. An insider from the talent agency said that they had an in-depth discussion with Ahn Yujin but she decided not to take the CSAT to concentrate on her debut, which is just around the corner, and related promotions.

The artist may consider whether to attend college or the subject of college life when she can focus on the topic depending on her opinion in the future. The insider also asked fans to show support for An Yu Jin and IVE on their upcoming debut.

Though that may seem like a long list of artists skipping the 2021 CSAT, not all young idols are choosing this option. Among the young stars who will sit for the college entrance exam this year are Dohwan and Won from Ciipher, and Baek Ji Heon from fromis_9, who is a student of Seoul Performing Arts High School at present.

GHOST9's Lee Woo Jin, TREASURE's Doyoung, MCND's Minjae and Huijun, ICHILLIN's Chaerin, MIRAE's Dongpyo, Rocket Punch's Sohee, and VERIVERY's Kangmin are the other young K-pop idols who will take the CSAT this year.

In addition to the K-pop idols, other young Korean celebrities are also going to take the 2022 CSAT such as "House of Hummingbird" actress Park Ji Hoo. The actress is going to her hometown in Daegu to appear for the exam. Meanwhile, Tang Joon Sang, who starred in the Netflix original "Move to Heaven" and SBS's "Racket Boys" has got early admission into the department of theater and film at Chung-Ang University.
