Rumors about Daniel Bruhl’s role in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” are presently making their rounds on the Internet. According to the rumor mill, he might have been cast to play the role of the villainous Baron Zemo, according to Movie Web.
Sadly, however, Bruhl neither confirmed nor denied these rumors when he spoke with Wall Street Journal recently.
“I am not supposed to say anything,” he said.
Apparently, Bruhl is “too afraid” that he might reveal too much about the movie and he will “end up in the Marvel prison. “I cannot even talk about the part, really, because I would be too afraid to give something away, and then I’ll end up in the Marvel prison. I do not want that.”
Although he managed to keep the details of his participation in the Marvel blockbuster under wraps, he has shared that he feels this role is “the highest level” for him.
“I think I will be walking around for the first week being amazed – like a little boy – to be in that universe,” he added. “It is going to be fantastic. That is why it is a challenge. It is something I am very much looking forward to because this is entertainment on the highest level.”
He was actually being interviewed for “Woman in Gold” and “The Face of An Angel,” both of which will be out soon, as reported by Screen Rant. However, he could not prevent himself from talking about his excitement that he is now part of the MCU, or Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“It is huge for me,” he shared. “From the world I am coming from and the movies I have done, this feels big – megalomania and huge.”
