Luis Suarez Helps Barcelona Win El Clásico Against Real Madrid

Barcelona achieved a trademark finish over Real Madrid when Luis Suarez scored a strike in the 57th minute of the match, leading to a 2-1 victory for Barcelona. This victory has led to Barcelona moving up by four points in the Spanish Primera Liga, according to CNN News.

Jeremy Mathieu's goal gave Barcelona a lead in the beginning after Lionel Messi's free kick provided the needed lift off for Mathieu's header, Cristiano Ronaldo equalized the score and also scored his 31st league goal for this season.

Ronaldo had hit the crossbar during the early part of the match. He was able to score after a Karim Benzema provided assistance with his back heel, and his goal was the signal of dominance by the visitors.

Real Madrid made a strong start in second half with an early goal attempt by Benzema which was saved. Barcelona re-established the advantage with a decidedly route one goal as Dani Alves delivered a long ball over the top as Suarez showed amazing control that made a perfectly placed low finish in the bottom left corner.

Barcelona showed dominance after Suarez's goal, but squandered away several chances to as Neymar Jr ended a brilliant run by shooting over and then shot wide after a pass from Messi.

Having won 18 of the 19 games, Barcelona has played is on the verge of winning the Spanish Primera Division.
