Geroge R.R. Martin is being pressured by his fans to finish writing his new book entitled "The Winds of Winter," the sixth book in his fiction series called "A Song of Ice and Fire" and he shared in a statement that he will not let the pressure of his fans let him rush his writing.
In the premiere of the fifth season of the much-awaited series "Game Of Thrones," Martin noted that he gets pressured every year while speaking before a crowd of three thousand people in San Francisco. He added that he does not want to rush anything because he wants to make his books as good as he can possibly make them. The HBO series is being watched by millions of fans and the books are being anticipated by them as well.
The 66-year-old writer already wrote five out of the seven books but the latest installment was released back in 2011. The Book "A Dance With Dragons" was out and it was the same year that the television adaptation of the book was released.
According to Daily Mail, Martin also cited futuristic scenarios saying that fifty years from now, nobody will care about how frequent his books came out but they will care if the books are as good as people deemed it to be and that is what he struggles most with.
Aside from Martin, Emilia Clarke, the actress who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen, assured the fans of the show that the stories they have been weaving for the past four seasons will finally come together for the fifth season.
Vanity Fair also reported that during the premier, the producers of the show announced that the upcoming season will be spoiling the ending of the new book of Martin. They shared that although there are so many alterations as to the plot and the story line of the book and the show, this time they will be ending the season with the same ending as the book so fans should just worry about how long it will still take Martin to finish the new book.
The fifth season will premiere on April 12 on HBO and HBO Now.
