Zayn Malik recently shocked the Directioners after he announced on his social networking site that he is indeed leaving One Direction. After this announcement, Liam Payne, one of the members of the band, also took it to his social networking site to announce a very important message for the band's fans.

Payne pointed out that the band will move forward despite the saddening event. The exit of Malik came days after a photograph of him surfaced with another woman while on tour in Thailand despite being engaged to his fiancée Perrie Edwards.

The post of Payne was posted in TwitLonger and according to New York Daily News, the site even crashed for a couple or hours due to the overwhelming number of fans wanting to read Payne's statement.

He shared that for the past five years, he has been part of something so special that their band can bring smiles to fans who are having the darkest times in their lives. He added that this week has been some of the worst times and he is saddened to think that not all five of them will be gracing the stage due to Malik's exit. However, he assured the fans that the remaining four will still be close friends with Malik and that the band is far from over. Payne then proceeded to ask the fans of the band to keep their faith in us because there are so much more to come from the band.

According to People, 21-year-old Payne is the third to comment on the departure of Malik from the band as a video surfaced on the internet earlier this week showing Harry Styles wiping his tears while performing one song in Indonesia. Styles also took it to his Twitter account to post the simple message "All the love as always. H" after news broke that Malik already left the band.

23-year-old Louis Tomlinson also took it to his social networking site that the band will work harder than ever to deliver the best album. He is reportedly the closest to Malik.
