Is Angelina Jolie Fully Recovered Post-Operation? 'Maleficent' Star Attends KCA With Daughters Zahara, Shiloh

Angelina Jolie sat in the front row with kids joining the crowd in celebration of the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. This is the actress' first media appearance following the surgery that removed her fallopian tubes and ovaries due to a cancer scare. In 2007, her mother passed away due to the same kind of cancer.  

The 39-year-old actress was accompanied by her daughters Zahara, 10, and Shiloh, 8, who appeared to be delighted in the presence of hundreds of other kids, the US Magazine reported. Jolie was nominated under the category "Favorite Movie Actress"; however, lost to "Amazing Spider-Man 2" star Emma Stone.

The "Unbroken" director was still up for another award- "Favorite Villain"- for her role in "Maleficent," which is nominated for the "Favorite Movie" category.Before accepting the award for the "Favorite Villain," she offered her kids with a big hug, Just Jared shared. She delivered a speech to kids that encouraged them to accept uniqueness because it is good and shared that as a child, she too was different, could not sit still, and always fiery. She ended her inspiring words, internalizing her villain character, and shared that it's fine to ignite troubles because it is good. 

The Pitt family trio posed with Meghan Trainor, a fellow KCA attendee, who was up for the "Favorite Song of the Year" and "Favorite New Artist Awards."

"Salt" star's six years old daughter Vivienne, who was featured in the same supervillain movie was not present in the Nick Jonas-hosted event.
