Harry Styles Feels Disrespected And Betrayed After Rumors Emerge That Zayn Malik Left To Have A Solo Career: Report

Last week, Zayn Malik announced to his fans that he will no longer continue being part of the United Kingdom-based band "One Direction" and earlier this week a video surfaced online showing Malik performing a song prompting fans to believe rumors that he left the band to have a solo career.

However, it's not just the fans who feel disappointed about the video that surfaced as Hollywood Life reported that a source close to Harry Styles confirmed that he is very much affected as to the reports that surfaced. 21-year-old Styles feels like he was betrayed by his own brother and he reportedly feels very disrespected for the group, the mentor of the band, and their fans.

The source added that Styles feels so betrayed because he was the biggest supporter of Malik regarding his decision. The source also revealed that the band feels like Malik is acting as if he is too good for the band that is why he bailed on them to pursue a solo career.

Styles also reportedly feels Malik crossed the line with their mentor Simon Cowell since he has been very appreciative of what their mentor did for them and Styles feels Malik disrespected Cowell the most. However, Cowell has not shared any statement publicly about his thoughts regarding Malik leaving the band.

This report came hours after a friend of Malik, Naughty Boy, shared a link on his social networking site to show the first solo song of Malik. The link shared was accompanied with a statement that says the music should do the talking as if saying that this was the first solo project of Malik.

Meanwhile, BBC reported that due to the beef between Naughty Boy and Louis Tomlinson regarding the link posted online, it was already taken down after being up on the internet for less than 24 hours. According to the report, Naughty Boy previously worked with Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, and Leona Lewis.

One Direction's scheduled shows will still continue but a video montage shown before the beginning of the shows was edited and Malik was noticeably out of the picture.
