Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5 were performing at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on April 6, Monday, when the sexiest man alive for 2013 and 2014 was attacked by a crazed fan.

A female fan, who remains anonymous, was able to get past security and go up the stage while Levine was performing one of the band's hit singles. Videos were uploaded on Instagram by a user named maroon5_savedme showing the said attack.

In the video, it was shown that the woman came from behind and hugged Levine as soon as she got the chance to. Levine was in the zone and did not realize what was happening as he was clearly surprised with the incident and he pushed the fan away at first because she continued to hug him and disturb the show.

However, Levine handled the situation like a pro as he calmed the fan down and put his arm over her shoulder before security came to take her away from the stage.

Levine talked after the incident happened and he noted that it was weird for him because he was in the moment and was singing to the crowd. He shared that singing and performing while his eyes were closed is such a beautiful moment but then he was interrupted by someone and it's terrifying as per report of the New York Daily News.

Levine claimed, the woman's long fingernails injured him because he sustained cuts in his ear due to the attack, TMZ reported.

Kudos to Levine since he handled it well and kept his cool.

This May, the concerts of Maroon 5 are scheduled outside the United States and it will be in Germany, Italy, London, Netherlands, and Paris.

Meanwhile, as one of the coaches of "The Voice," Levine helped his singer Deanna Johnson to overcome her stage fright as he gives her tons of advice and inspirational statements.
