7 Prominent LA Locations Marked With 'No Kardashian Parking' Signboards

Reality television sisters (L-R) Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian pose with their favorite guilty pleasure award for 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' at the 2011 People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles January 5, 2011

The famous family of the reality show, "Keeping up With The Kardashians," will soon find difficult moving around in Los Angeles as several signboards have popped up reading "No Kardashian Parking Anytime." These signs have been erected lately and can seen in all the seven prominent locations of the city, including a few on Melrose Avenue and near the famous Ivy restaurant and one just outside the popular DASH boutique owned by Kardashians.

The parking signs look real but are completely fake and a handiwork of a self proclaimed social critic. A local street artist who calls himself "Plastic Jesus" has posted several signs across the city which seems like a warning to Kardashians not to park their vehicles at the spot, Fox News reported.

However, the artist declared that his campaign is not against Kardashians but towards celebrity obsessed American culture.

"The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture," told the artist to Hollywood Reporter. "We've allowed the mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions."

Jesus revealed that he got the inspiration for running a campaign against the celebrity obsession after witnessing a Kardashian sister being unnecesarily swarmed by paparazzi while on a shopping trip. Jesus' other venture "Stop Making Stupid People Famous" is also seen as a war against Kardashians and their fan following among the masses.

Meanwhile, regardless of the social issue and artistic intent, LAPD is regarding these parking signs as acts of vandalism. However, no complaint has been filed yet in this regard.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is followed by millions of people around the world. Their social media presence is alarmingly high about 30.9 million online users on Twitter following Kim Kardashian's every move.
