Turtle Beach Announces New Line Of Gaming Accessories; New Products To Be Available At Selected The North American Outlets

Turtle Beach, the company best known for its gaming products, has announced that it will be releasing its new line of PC gaming accessories that will include keyboards, mice and mousepads.

The announcement was made on Apr. 10 and the company added that it will be available at selected outlets within North America, according to Toms Hardware. The company has yet to confirm whether its new products will be available in other markets.

Turtle Beach has made its name through the PC gaming market but its new set of products also aims to target console gamers. Among its newest offering is a fully wireless headset for the Xbox One. Due to its high quality products, Turtle Beach has gained a steady following throughout the gaming community may that be casual or hardcore gamers.

Turtle Beach will be releasing three new keyboards. The most high-end of these three is the IMPACT 700 Premium Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. This new keyboard has fully adjustable and illuminated keys, two USB 2.0 ports with an audio and mic port, a steel-reinforced chassis with gunmetal keycap plates and Turtle Beach is generous enough to include extra keycaps with a metal keycap puller.

The IMPACT 700 has a standard 104-key layout, it is compatible for both PC and MAC and its plug-and-play features means it doesn't need lengthy installation. The keyboard will be available at a starting price of $199.95

Turtle Beach will also release two high-end gaming mice; the GRIP 500 Premium Laser Gaming Mouse and the GRIP 300 Optical Gaming Mouse for $69.95 and $39.95 respectively. Both mice has USB plug-and-play feature and are PC/MAC compatible.

Although the two gaming mice might have a huge difference on its price tag, both has an almost identical specifications. Some of the minor difference between the two is that the GRIP 500 has a 7-button scroll-wheel mouse while the GRIP 300 only has 5-button. Additionally, the GRIP 500 has a higher DPI setting compared to the GRIP 300 and it also comes in with customization software.

For its mousepad accessory line, Turtle Beach will be releasing two products; the DRIFT Fast Microfiber Mousepad and the TRACTION Textured Control Surface Mousepad.

The DRIFT is has high-quality microfiber surface and has a rubber base to avoid slip-ups. It comes in four sizes; Medium, Large, X-Large and Wide measuring 270x200mm, 350x250mm, 450x350mm and 900x300mm respectively. It has a price range between $14.95 up to $34.95 depending on its size.

The TRACTION has a textured weave surface in order to balance friction and mouse control. It has the same sizes as the DRIFT and price ranges from $14.925 to $34.95 depending on the sizes as well.
