Rumors are going around claiming that the Drexel Law School professor who sent a PornHub link to her students was fired due to the incident.

After the story of became viral, Drexel University created an investigative body to inquire the situation. However, the university has not released the result of the investigation yet. Huffington Post cited the university after it released a statement that the university informed Lisa McElroy that her email included a link redirecting to inappropriate material. The link redirects to a PornHub video entitled, "SHE LOVES HER ANAL BEADS?".

"According to federal law and the University's policies and procedures, Drexel is required to initiate fact-finding for all reports of inappropriate behaviors of a sexual nature that may impact members of our community. As part of these policies and procedures, an employee may be put on administrative leave-which is not punitive-during the investigation," the statement continued.

It seemed that the law professor sent the email to her class with good intentions. However, it had created a big embarrassment to the academic institution. Above the Law got hold of the email McElroy sent. It has a subject headline "great article on writing briefs". The body reads, "I thought this article on brief writing would be interesting for all of you" and is followed by the link from PornHub instead of an educational material.

So far, there is no update from the inquiry committee. Thus, it is still unconfirmed whether the placement of the link was intentional or accidental. The investigation will probably include interviews with her students asking about her attitude in class.

Meanwhile, an ex-professor in Wageningen University in the Netherlands was sacked after he was busted watching after watching porn in an empty classroom, according to Yahoo. The professor was relieved of his duties, although students claimed that he was a very good teacher.
