New leaked images of ZTE's flagship smartphone, Nubia Z9, surfaced on the Internet and it shows that the device is getting into the latest trend of curved and bezel-less display.
Following the recent image leak of Oppo R7, which also sports bezel-less display, the ZTE Nubia Z9 will follow the latest smartphone trend. Although the China-based company has yet to officially announce the product, many blogging sites all over the Internet has already flaunted the design and supposed specs of the smartphone.
The ZTE Nubia Z9 has the same curved screen edge which was brought to mainstream attention by the highly-praised Samsung S6 Edge. On top of this, the Nubia Z9 also has full metal frame probably to add strength to the smartphone's body. Based on the leaked images, it looks like the Nubia Z9 has the same AMOLED screen technology that allows the Galaxy S6 Edge to have its curved display.
Rumors surrounding the ZTE's new smartphone said that it will have 5.5-inch display with a maximum resolution of 1440 x 2569. The Nubia's processor is yet to be confirmed but many speculate that ZTE will be choosing between two Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. According to Phone Arena, it will be a tough choice between a 64-bit eight-core Snapdragon 810 chip and the 64-bit six-core Snapdragon 808 chip.
ZTE will most likely add a 3GB RAM in order complement the processor. A fingerprint scanner is also rumored to be added into the phones home button.
In March, ZTE unveiled the Nubia Z9 Max and the Nubia Mini but has not made any announcement about the Nubia Z9, according to GSM Arena.
