Apple Inc Gets New Patents.

Apple is reportedly unveiling iOS 9 on the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015, which will take place in San Francisco on June 8-12. During the event, details of the latest updates in iOS and OS X will be exhibited.

On the other hand, while iOS 9 is on its way, many users still have not upgraded to iOS 8. Only 79 percent of all iOS users are running iOS 8. This is similar to iOS 7, which reached a 78 percent adoption rate only three months after its release, Cult Of Mac has learned.

Released on Sept. 17, 2014, iOS 8 shows slow adoption rate as molasses compared to previous versions.

Meanwhile, the newly update Tumblr 4.0 makes blogging on iPhone or iPad even more fun. As detailed in iTunes Preview, Tumblr. 4.0 comes to iOS with a new widget, filtered search and better blogging tools.

Using a video's URL, Tumblr 4.0 users can make video posts by copying a URL from YouTube, Vimeo or a similar site and hit it into the app. With its new widget, users do not have to open the app to check trending tags of the day.

To install the new widget, open up the "Today" view, which is where all widgets live, by swiping down from the top of the screen, go to the bottom and tap the "Edit" button, and lastly, look for "Trending on Tumblr" in the list.

Other features of the Tumblr 4.0 include a new icon, a sticky search bar, sticky avatars on iPad and better GIFs loading.
