Jeremy Clarkson has finally opened up following his recent termination from the BBC show, "Top Gear."

The actor was reportedly released from his contract after he attacked one of the producers of the show.

On Sunday, Clarkson penned an article for The Sunday Times where revealed that he will be missing the show.

"Heartfelt thanks to all those who have written to say how much they will miss me on 'Top Gear.' It's not as much, however, as I'll miss being there," he wrote.

Clarkson also revealed that he had a cancer scare two days prior to attacking a "Top Gear" producer.

"Two days before the 'fracas,' I'd been told, sternly, by my doctor that the lump on my tongue was probably cancer and that I must get it checked out immediately. But I couldn't do that. We were all in the middle of a 'Tog Gear' series. And 'Top Gear' always came first," he wrote.

The 55-year-old BBC star admitted that he thinks his relationship with the people from the show will no longer be the same. However, he is looking forward to the opportunities that will open for him in the future, The Guardian reported.

"The hole it's left behind seems to stretch for eternity. You need to have a long term strategy. You need something that will fill the void. I have lost my baby but I shall create another. I don't know who the other parent will be or what the baby will be like," he added.
