As per the chart on Apr. 21, Facebook Messenger and "Minecraft" remain the top most downloaded apps in the free and paid categories for all the Apple app store users.
Facebook messenger is still the top free app this week, according to Toronto Sun. Facebook messenger's 25.0 version was released on Apr. 10 and users saw the revamped look of the same.
Facebook is the second top most free downloaded app. It had its 28.0 version released on Apr. 13. At the third spot was Google's YouTube which had its latest version out on Mar. 26, according to Culture Mob. The last two positions were acquired by Instagram and Snapchat on number four and number five, respectively.
On the other hand, "Minecraft" tops the list as the most downloaded paid app on iTunes. This game is produced by Mojang. It is a simple sandbox construction game, in which the players can challenge each other across the globe. It had its latest version out on Dec. 2.
This game currently costs $6.99 on the Apple App Store. The second spot was taken by Trivia Crack which also has a free version, but that version contains a lot of ads. It is available for $2.99 and had its 2.1.2 version out on Apr. 20. The third place is taken by Warner Bros' "Heads Up" game, which a word guessing game and currently costs $0.99. Its 2.4.2 version was released on Mar. 12. Scholly Scholarship and Monument valley were on the fourth and fifth spot, respectively.
