Fans can now engage a hangout with the "Insidious" Universe with its "Into The Further 4D Experience," a virtual reality event that connects fans to the film.

"Into The Further 4D Experience" immerses fans to a terrifying journey in a paradigm that buzzes them physically and virtually, as per Dread Central.

For the first time, front-line Oculus Rift virtual reality technology and terror go together in a mobile tour heading to various cities in line with the upcoming horror film "Insidious: Chapter 3."

"Into The Further 4D" showcases digital scares, in which the haunted house enables the guests to experience surprises through physical and virtual frights. The visitors will feel how it is like to be in the Further with the specifically deliberate and exceptionally penetrating experience in 4D.

"Insidious" fans who will not be able to attend will be very happy, since "Into The Further 4D" will also be released as an application that can be downloaded in iOS and Android devices. A Google Cardboard virtual reality headset should be used to experience the haunt at home.

Fans will enjoy the experience as "Into The Further 4D" has free admission and does not require purchase. It is headed next to Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.

For more details on the events' exact dates, time and location, the Google Cardboard headset distribution, and the fans' reactions from the previous tour scares, fans can visit Into The Further site.

Meanwhile, two new posters for the upcoming "Insidious: Chapter 3" has been released and can be seen in Yahoo.

The photos, which are reflective of each other, show Stephanie Scott's Quinn Brenner walking in a dark empty room with plaster casts on both legs. The new posters give conviction to its label, "The darkest chapter goes back to the beginning."

The upcoming film stars Scott, Lin Shaye, Dermot Mulroney, Angus Sampson, and film maker Leigh Whannel.

"Insidious: Chapter 3" is slated to premiere in theaters on June 5.
