A new photo leak regarding the upcoming Sony Xperia Z5 has surfaced on the Internet. The leak was posted by Twitter user Ricciolo and claims that the upcoming Sony flagship smartphone will have a "new Camera/sensor/lens/software."
A lot of rumors has been circulating about the upcoming Sony Xperia 5. In fact a series of leaks has already revealed the smartphones specs long before its predecessor, the Sony Xperia Z4, has hit the market.
If the rumors and leaks are true, then it shows that Sony is working for a newer design for its flagship smartphone. Aside from having a new set of camera, Twitter user Ricciolo also said that the Xperia Z5 will have a "new design/identity."
A photo leak showing a blurred image was also posted by Ricciolo and quickly spread to a lot tech blogging sites. The photo looks like a screenshot of Xperia Z5' camera modes. Its shows a scene selection menu with options for Normal and Sunrise & Sunset settings.
According to WCCF Tech, an image showing a photo taken by the rear camera of Xperia Z5 has also surfaced in the Internet.
Several tech websites has also posted a photo of what appears to be the back side of the Xperia Z5 that shows the Sony logo. Details about the photo is not that comprehensive and not much information can be made out of it.
Additional leaked information said that the new smartphone will use the USB Type C port. On one of the leak, the words "9 months" was written which highly suggests that Sony might be eyeing to release the smartphone by September, according to Tech Radar.
