The first official photo of Jared Leto as Joker in the upcoming film "Suicide Squad" has just been released.

Leto's Joker photo was first tweeted by "Suicide Squad director David Ayer who wrote, "The Suicide Squad wishes you a Happy Anniversary Mr. J! #Joker75 #SuicideSquad @WarnerBrosEnt @DCComics."

In the photo, Leto was photographed with green hair and with a handful of tattoos all over his body.

On his forehead is a tattoo that read, "Damaged," proving that Joker is a character who has been going through a lot especially when it comes to his personal life, The A.V. Club noted.

Under Leto's eye is a tattoo of the letter "J" and on the left side of his chest are the words "HA HA HA HA HA." Additionally, on his right arm is a tattoo of his mouth and teeth.

Also in the photo, Leto as Joker placed both of his hands over his head, while his eyes and mouth were kept extremely wide open.

According to multiple sources, Leto's take on the role of Joker was nothing close to the late Heath Ledger's portrayal.

Several years back, Ledger's Clown Prince of Crime look appeared to be more subtle, according to Vanity Fair.

Meanwhile, Ayer previously revealed that his version of the Joker will take some inspiration from Alan Moore's graphic novel entitled, "Batman: The Killing Joke."

"Suicide Squad" will also feature some of the biggest names in the film industry including Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis and Margot Robbie.
