The highly anticipated LG's latest flagship smartphone, the G4, will launch worldwide today at a simultaneous events in Tokyo, New York and London, according to PCPro.
The forthcoming LG G4 is believed to carry a price tag of £7000 ( $10645.88). The smartphone will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the phone will be 75.3 x 149.1 x 8.9 mm. The LG G4 will come with a 3000mAh removable battery and a microSD card slot.
According to leaks, the LG G4 will have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage. It will be available with a plastic rear shell or leather in a variety of colours.
The LG G4 features a 5.5 quad-HD (2560x1440) LCD display. According to the South Korean company, the new display features 50 percent higher contrast ratios compared to conventional QHD LCD panels, and 30 percent higher brightness, without an increased consumption of power. Furthermore, instead of putting the touch panel on top of the LCD, LG Display's team has embedded the touch sensor within the LCD itself. This results in improved touch response and a slimmer design.
According to International Business Times, LG G4 is believed to be the first smartphone in the world to feature a 16mp camera with f/1.8 aperture, lens brightness options, fastest auto-focus feature, RAW or JPEG, 3 shooting modes, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) v2.0, shutter speed option and slow synch flash option. On the front side, the smartphone has a 7mp camera with 3264x1836p resolution clicking ability.
