11th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival Kicks Off in Hangzhou

The 11th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival has kicked off on April 28, Tuesday, in the eastern city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Around 600 animation exhibitors from more than 70 countries and regions are expected to participate in the week-long event, which will have exhibitions, forums, activities and competitions.

As the biggest event dedicated to animation and cartoons in China, the festival will bring together leading artists, industry insiders, university professors and fans.

Concluding on May 3, CICAF is the only state-level cartoon and animation festival for professionals that has the widest reach and influence in China.
