Twilight' Star Kristen Stewart: 'Hollywood Is Disgustingly Sexist'

"Twilight" star Kristen Stewart is clearly furious over the double standard prevalent in the show business. The actress is not holding herself back while blasting Hollywood's sexist approach in a new interview.

The 25-year-old actress popularly known as Bella Swan of the Twilight saga film series has spoken frankly about gender politics in a new interview with Harper Bazaar.

"Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard," said the first American actress to win France's prestigious Cesar award. "Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It's crazy. It's so offensive it's crazy."

Although the actress has not disclosed any particular instance of being discriminated or abused, but has voiced out that women are downgraded in comparison to their male counterparts in Hollywood. Also, Stewart did not appear to be a fan of nudity on screen, especially when it comes to female topless scenes.  The actress has questioned the necessity of a well-established actresses suddenly baring her covers just for probably grabbing a major gig.

The actress with an image of a tomboy looked refreshingly feminine and beautiful as she posed for the high fashion photo shoot for the cover of Harper Bazaar. The former flame of newly engaged co-actor Robert Pattinson also declared in the interview that she hates filming sex scenes that are forced into the story just to attract the cinema-goers.

The actress categorically pointed out a sex scene from Twilight with Pattinson as inhuman and agonizingly frustrating. At the time of filming the scene, the duo was dating each other.

Meanwhile, the actress is rumoured to be in gay relationship with her close friend and former  former assistant, Alicia Cargile. The duo has often been spotted holding hands, kissing and cuddling on multiple occasions including their bikini getaway in Honlulu and PDA-filled weekend in Coachella festival, First To Know reported.
