Few months are left before the premiere of the highly anticipated "Jurassic World" and film maker Colin Trevorrow reveals that another star is to be seen on the big screen - the original Tyrannosaurus rex.

Trevorrow said that the Tyrannosaurus rex from the Steven Spielberg's 1993 "Jurassic Park" is the same T-rex in "Jurassic World," as per Hero Complex. The director added that the T-rex has been on the island for 22 years. She is a "little older," but is still alive and "angry."

In the recent "Jurassic World" trailer, the T-rex was seen eating its trademark meal, a goat, as people watch inside a large log. Will she be responsible for mortality in the film, just like what she did to the Martin Ferrero's Donald Genaro in 1993? Will she have a one-on-one fight with the Indominus rex?

"Jurassic World" has given the fans a glimpse of the dinosaurs they will see in the movie. There are the Velociraptor pack, which are said to be trained by Chris Pratt's Owen Grady. Deep in the water is the gigantic and shark chasing Mosasaurus. The park also has its flying dinosaurs, the Pteranodon. Also, featured in the movie is the newest hybrid creation, the Indominus rex.

Meanwhile, Trevorrow said that "Jurassic World" will not factor in the sequels "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic Park III" as they both happened on a different island, as per Yahoo. He added that the installment will serve as a "direct sequel" to the 1993 original and not just a new incarnation of "Jurassic Park."

The upcoming film stars Wong, Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Vincent D'Onofrio, Omar Sy, Brian Tee, and Irrfan Khan.

"Jurassic World" is set to hit the big screen on June 12.
