X-Men: Apocalypse

Recently, film maker Bryan Singer has revealed the official look of Nightcrawler while Simon Kinberg talked some information on what fans can expect from Cyclops, Storm, and Jean Grey. Now, the director gave a glimpse on the mutants Grey and Jubilee.

Singer has recently posted a photo from the set in Instagram. It features "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner and newbie Lara Condor, as they will be playing the young versions of Grey and Jubilee in "X-Men: Apocalypse," respectively.

Condor and Turner both look happy and excited in their photo, which has got nearly 8,000 likes and about 500 comments.  Will they be showing the fans the same faces when they face "Apocalypse" in the film?

As per The Verge, the characters' looks in the photo mirror the hairstyle and fashion preferences of the young mutants. A parallel instance is Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, who is in a Michael Jackson Jacket.

One important element to "X-Men: Apocalypse" is its setting, as per Screen Rant. Set in year 1983, the film will show case the mutants blending with the social and political environment, gearing to fight the titular supervillain "Apocalypse," to be played by Oscar Isaac.

"Apocalypse" is not in favor of mutants being in harmony with non-mutants in the Reagan-era America. For the antiquated superpowered villain, the "X-Men" are pathetic and "enslaved to themselves."

The storyline advances to the 1980s, a decade from the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" '70s setting and "X-Men: First Class" '60s setting.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" stars Turner, Condor, Smit-McPhee, Isaac, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Ben Hardy, Rose Byrne, Oliva Munn, and Evan Peters.

Returning cast includes Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas hoult, Lucas Till, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart.

Directed by Singer, "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to hit the theaters on May 27, 2016.
