Batman: Arkham Knight

Batman: Arkham Knight video game is slated to be released on June 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, according to Venture Capital Post.

On Monday, April 27, Rocksteady Studios, a London-based video game developer, released a new trailer for the forthcoming action-adventure game Batman: Arkham Knight that disclosed one of the game's new features, the Dual Play.

The publisher Warner Bros said that dual play feature will allow players to seamlessly switch between characters in free-flow combat. That means that players can easily switch between The Dark Knight and his allies, including Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman in the combat.

This new entry to the franchise will be the first to allow players drive the invincible bulletproof Batmobile that has the ability to perform boosts, jumps and burnouts. The game setting is 20 times larger than Arkham Asylum and five times bigger than Arkham City.

In Batman: Arkham Knights, players will face Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin and The Scarecrow. Joker was the major protagonist in the first two games of the Arkham series. However, since his death, there appears to be another one ready to take his role, Arkham Knight.

According to Rocksteady Studios, the Arkham Knight is a new villain developed for the game. Still, rumors are doing the rounds that the Arkham Knight could be Jason Todd or Thomas Wayne.

Arkham Knight will be the fourth game in the Arkham series, which started with Batman: Arkham Asylum back in 2009. Arkham Knight initially was set for release last October; however, it was rumored the game was just 40 percent completed in May of last year, International Business Times reported. The delayed release of the game was confirmed in early June of 2014.
