'Grand Theft Auto 5' Can be Controlled from an iPhone Application; Watch Amazing Video

"GTA 6" release may happen more likely by 2018.

A Reddit user, planetleak showed how he controlled the "Grand Theft Auto 5" character through an unknown app. This app recreats the game's interface and uses an xcode to do so. Then he added gesture and button controls on his unique app, it will send a URL directly to the web server Arduino which runs a different key binding macro.

He can access the phone being used in the in-game; making calls to the phone's contacts, scroll messages in the inbox and surprisingly, take photos of the in-game, according to PC Gamer.

How planetleak did it is a surprise to the "GTA" fans.  Sometimes, such ideas are the product of a smart modder who happens to be inquisitive and wants to do something different. Having an intelligent idea can sometimes make a modder think of ways to really immerse him in the game, according to Engadget.

Although using one's personal mobile phone to control the phone of the star racer Trevor is hard to do.  It is still practical to use the controller or the keyboard to do that.

In the video, it is fun to watch the modder call a cab for Trevor but knowing Trevor's reaction, he will just destroy it.  It is also not clear if planetleak is interested to share the source code or the app to other gamers.
