Beyonce Knowles was one of the many stunners at the Met Ball 2015 on Monday and it was revealed that the singer went through a lot of exercise and had to stick to a vegan diet in order to achieve her body.
The singer showed up in the red carpet wearing a sheer, bejeweled Givenchy dressed. Her enviable figure was evidently slimmer as she stopped and posed for photos while at the red carpet of the said event. Because of her thinner physique, a lot of her fans asked about her diet and workout plan to achieve her bombshell body. Knowles' trainer, Marco Borges, shared that the singer first started her diet plan eating only plant-based breakfasts, The Inquisitr reported. Eventually, Knowles ate plant-based lunches and plant-based dinners.
Knowles was on a vegan diet for 22 straight days as per the suggestion of Borges' book entitled "The 22-Day Revolution: The Plant-Based Program That Will Transform Your Body, Reset Your Habits, and Change Your Life."
Borges also took to his website the inspirational quotes that were stated by the singer while taking on the said diet. In one of the quotes, she said that she is a Houston-born foodie but was able to take on the diet and encouraged the others to do it as well.
In the preface of Borges' book, Queen Bey also shared her food choices before such as eating sandwiches and fried chicken but after giving birth to Blue Ivy, she wanted to regain her control over her health and her body. She added that she did not want to undergo crash diets to achieve the body she wants.
The trainer of Knowles added that she was encouraged by her husband Jay Z to start the diet plan and have a workout regime she should strictly follow. She also regularly uploads her fitness programs on Instagram for her fans to follow.
The Met Ball 2015 appearance of Knowles was also an inspiration to Khloe Kardashian, who took to Instagram to give a shout out to the singer. The reality star from the show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" also started going to the gym earlier this year and has been turning heads with her weight loss, People reported.
