Samsung Galaxy Note Edge 2 release date is reported to be in September alongside the Galaxy Note 5. The former is reported to sport a dual edge screen display similar to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

According to iTech Post, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge 2 is dubbed as "Project Zen," while the Galaxy Note 5 is coded as "Project Noble". The two handsets are set to make an appearance at the IFA tech event in Berlin in September, which has been the official launching platform of Samsung's phablet line. The handsets will most likely battle with iPhone 7, according to International Business Times.

One of the selling points of last year's Galaxy Note Edge is the curved screen that served a variety of functions such as a dock for opened apps and features when multi-tasking. Having dual edge screen will pave the way for added functions as well as aesthetics on the device.

Last year, the only difference between the two phablets is the edge screen display, previous rumors claimed that the Galaxy Note 5 will include features such as 5.9 inches in size with 4K screen resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection, Samsung Exynos 3.2 GHz octa core processor with 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage variants, 19 megapixel with optical image stabilization and 4.7 megapixel front-facing camera, and 3,700 mAh battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will most likely run with the new Android OS that will be released in July at Google's I/O tech event.

Rumors claimed that the price of the two devices will start at $900. However, Samsung has not confirmed the aforementioned rumors yet.
