"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" PS4 version release was reportedly delayed and it is still unknown when the version will arrive unlike the PC and Xbox one versions that have concrete launch dates.
According to IGN, PlayStation 4 users may have to wait on the edge of their seats for a little longer than players using other platforms. It was also revealed that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" PC version is now available for pre-load via Steam and GOG.com. PC gamers who pre-order the game can download the action role-playing game right now, according to the game's official Twitter account. The game is a 25GB file.
Last month, Xbox One users can pre-install the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on the console before its official release on May 19 after pre-ordering the title through Microsoft's online store.
Meanwhile, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" pre-orders surpassed one million, according to the sales report from game maker CD Projekt. This proves that the game is one of the most-anticipated game titles this year and is strong when it comes to sales.
"We've crossed the 1 million pre-order milestone and it's all thanks to you guys! We would like to thank all the gamers for their trust and support," CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwiński said.
"This is the last stretch and we're pushing hard -- over the last two weeks, we've increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine," he added.
The game allegedly leaked in United Arab Emirates causing several videos and teasers of the game to surface online. "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" official releases is on May 19.
