A large ebony root carving of the famous Chinese ancient painting "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" is on display at the 11th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair on May 14, 2015.
The root carving, which measures 27.5 meters in length and 30 tons in weight, vividly depicts the original painting, detailed with more than 800 characters, 30 pavilions and 28 boats.
Boats and the river are vividly presented on the ebony root carving art piece, as well as the daily life of people and the landscape on a riverside city in ancient China.
