The upcoming "Full House" reboot by Netflix will not include Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. The Olsen twins, who are now 28, were part of the original cast of the eight-season sitcom created by Jeff Franklin for ABC.

Known for his "Full House" role Jesse Katsopolis, the uncle of the Olsen twins' roles, John Stamos took to Twitter to comment on the news that Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley will not be part of the reboot.

"I understand they're in a different place and I wish them the best. I promise you will not be dissapointed with our reunion and spin off!!" Stamos tweeted.

On May 22, Friday, it was confirmed that Stamos will reprise the role of Jesse Katsopolis in the "Full House" reboot.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Robert L. Boyett said, "Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of 'Fuller House,' I know how much 'Full House' has meant to them and they are still very much considered family."

Boyett added that it has been exciting to see how the Olsen twins have built their professional careers, and he supports their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors.

"I appreciate their support and good wishes towards 'Fuller House,'" Boyett added.

In April, Netflix announced that "Fuller House" reboot will premiere in 2016 in a 13-episode run. The reboot will star original cast Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibler), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner) and Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone).

Talks to include Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) and Lori Loughlin (Rebecca Katsopolis) in the "Full House" reboot are still underway according to Deadline.
