Nexus 5 Gets Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Update Over-The-Air

A recent report about the Nexus 5 reveals that the smartphone is getting the Android 5.1.1 update over-the-air (OTA). For those who cannot wait for the OTA to arrive, the factory image is already available.

Now available for the Nexus 5, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update is not only available as a factory image on the Google Developers site but also happening OTA. The recently released Android M's developer preview is also available for testing.

For those who want to get Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on the Nexus 5, it is necessary to unpack the zip file after downloading ADB Tools and save the Android 5.1.1 factory image for Nexus 5 to the ADB Tools folder after downloading and unpacking it, according to Android Pit.
