"Suicide Squad" had its filming in Toronto, which excited the fans there, and film helmer David Ayer has revealed that his upcoming anti-hero film is full of solid surprises.
Ayer posted on his Twitter account, saying that he and the crew have "survived the streets." He added that it is "time to go dark now" and the "tiniest glimpse" has been shown. He seemed to imply that "Suicide Squad" is going to showcase a dark tone.
As of now, the filming of the anti-hero movie in Toronto has made fans aware that Batman is going to be in the movie, battling with Joker. Also, there is going to be a plane crash. The information fans have got from the recent film shooting can be linked in a multitude of ways, according to Cinema Blend.
Meanwhile, Toronto has recently witnessed the shooting of the star-studded "Suicide Squad" and numerous images and videos populated the social media, as per CTV News.
Film fan and resident Leonardo Dell'anno said that Toronto has become fully hyped during the filming. He said the people went out to watch and even little children were outside late at night, and some workers even took days off just to have a look on their favorite star as well as what they are going to see from the film.
While there are lots of possible events that can emerge given such information, Ayer's post suggests that fans has a lot more to know in the upcoming days or weeks.
The main ensemble of Ayer's "Suicide Squad" includes Jared Leto's Joker, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, Will Smith's Deadshot, Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevigne's Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flagg, and Viola Davis' Amanda Waller.
Other cast members include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Alex Meraz, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach, Scott Eastwood, and Common.
Directed by Ayer, "Suicide Squad" is set to premiere in theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
